Why Overwhelm? Sneak Peek into Session 1 of Space to Breathe
Over the last few years, I’ve become increasingly interested in our fast-paced culture and how it leaves us with little room to pause and breathe. We juggle responsibilities, social expectations, and daily to-dos, often without realizing how much it's taking a toll on our well-being. In conversations with coworkers, clients, and friends, it appears that overwhelm has become a default state for many of us. I believe there is another path forward, and it starts with pausing and noticing.
This Saturday, March 1st (Friday, Feb 28th for stateside friends) is session 1 of my coaching program Space to Breathe, and we will do just that. In this session,"Slowing Down and Noticing Overwhelm," we’ll take a step back and look at how this constant busyness could be affecting you.
What You’ll Explore:
The fast-paced nature of our culture and its impact on our wellbeing
How overwhelm appears in daily life—physically, mentally, and emotionally
The major energy drainers in your personal world and their impact
What You’ll Experience:
A Themed Lesson: A guided discussion on how societal expectations and personal demands create overwhelm, particularly for women.
Guided Journaling: A chance to pause and reflect on where overwhelm shows up for you and what’s draining your energy most.
Group Coaching Conversations: Supportive discussions with like-minded women to gain insight and share experiences.
Partner Reflection: A space to recap and highlight key takeaways with a partner for deeper understanding.
Personalized Action Steps: You’ll walk away with simple, realistic strategies to notice overwhelm in the moment and begin shifting toward greater ease.
My hope is to not add more to your plate, but rather, to create space for you to uncover what matters most and to take small, meaningful steps toward more balance.
