What does coaching with me look like?

After the first free trial session, we will identify 2-3 big goals you would like to focus on and create a series of coaching sessions surrounding those goals. The optimal coaching series is 10, 50-minute sessions meeting every other week, but I am willing to create a different plan based on your needs.

Who do I coach?

I have worked with males and females across different countries; between people in their 20s adjusting to the adult life to leaders in their 50s and upward. Coaching is an effective cross-cultural tool because I do not give advice, but rather partner with you in thinking through things in different ways than you have before.

 FAQs

  • Coaching is directed towards individuals that are generally mentally healthy and is future-focused, whereas counseling is more past-focused and directed towards healing individuals from past trauma. I am not a licensed mental health coach or counselor, and I will suggest clients seek these options if I sense that the coaching conversations go beyond my scope.

  • Coaching is focused on listening to an individual and using guiding questions to help them draw out solutions from inside themselves, whereas mentoring involves a person using his or her expertise in a certain area to guide the client.

  • You are able to opt out of coaching whenever you want to. I do require that you complete all payments for coaching sessions that occurred. For example, if you pledged 10 sessions with me and on the 5th session you decide you’d no longer like to continue, you must pay for the first 5 but are not obligated to pay for the rest.
